Approving your application on e-Devlet
A qualified e-imza is issued only once you approve the application on e-Devlet and prove your identity with your phone (NFC). Then your card can be activated.
Before you start
- Your e-Devlet password (PTT branches give one).
- A phone with NFC and the e-Devlet Kapısı app.
- Your chip identity card or passport.
- 1 Sign in to e-Devlet At giris.turkiye.gov.tr, with your identity number and your e-Devlet password.
- 2 Find the approval service Search for “e-kayıt” and open “e-Kayıt Başvurusu Onay İşlemleri (Bilgi Teknolojileri ve İletişim Kurumu)”.
- 3 Choose E-Tuğra As “İşletme sağlayıcı tipi” choose “Güvenli eİmza”; as “İşletme Sağlayıcı”, “E-TUĞRA EBG BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ VE HİZMETLERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ”.
- 4 Approve the product and the agreement Press “Onayla” beside the product you bought, tick the agreement and press “Onayla” again.
- 5 Choose your document Choose “Kimlik Kartı” or “Pasaport” and press “Devam et” twice: a QR code appears.
- 6 Prove your identity with your phone In the e-Devlet Kapısı app, use “Karekod Okut” on the QR code, then hold your identity card against the back of the phone until it is read.
